Maps

So I’ve mentioned that I was on holiday recently and that I enjoyed the respite from my phone and all the technology that normally surrounds me. Something I also found very refreshing was using a physical map to navigate our way around rather than a blob on a virtual map inside your phone that is supposed to indicate where you are. And you know what? I didn’t get lost half as much as I do with that thing. Supposedly all this new mapping technology is great, and yes it has its many benefits, but a physical map will always help you locate yourself whilst allowing you to explore what’s around you for yourself.
