National Theatre behind the scenes

Although this title may suggest I have recently had some first hand experience of being backstage at the National Theatre I am here to tell you that it is misleading. I haven’t had any such experience, although I did once walk through the stage door to interview a playwright (I was in the offices section, it wasn’t really as exciting as I imagine the ‘performance’ section is). Anyway, what I have done is discovered this video (not so hard a thing to do, it’s on The Guardian’s homepage, but you might have missed it nonetheless) about the 60mins before curtain up at the National Theatre.

If you’re interested in theatre and/or nosy like I am then it seems it’ll make for pretty good watching.
